Country Kitchen a la JCPenney?

I’ve seen alot of these JCPenney country kitchen pieces featured in decorating mags this spring, and they’re all on clearance now!  I’m thinking any one of these would look so cute in our dining room:
Cottage Kitchen Hutch – now $199 (my fave I think)
Or this Buffet for just $149!
And lastly this Victorian Buffet & Hutch for $199
But my new found love of cottage style is a bit of a dilemma..how would this look in the same room with my dark modern transitional dining table and chairs?

I don’t know if the color scheme works with the black and white.. it would be next to the open kitchen which has a black and white theme. Plus the trim around the windows is all white and I have the white of the french doors in the dining room.
Actually, they are all available in a nice black too, I was just trying to transition away from the dark into a more cottage bungalow look. But I may be too entrenched already..
Oh, I think you may have misunderstood me. I didn’t mean to paint the whole piece black, just the top and counter pieces that look like wood.
Oh! Yes, that’s a great idea!(they do come unassembled, kind of like Ikea..)
[…] extra storage, and I love the French country style of this one. But we already have a fairly new dining room table and chairs so Jeff thinks I’m crazy and more than a little spoiled to want to get this set. (Even if it […]
